Following the rollout of a new strategic vision for the University of Michigan College of Engineering, we created a new Brand Video. This video captured the spirit and voice of Michigan Engineering, highlighting our core values and mission: to serve the common good. This video won a Michigan Emmy award for Best Community/Public Service Video.
The creation of this video took several months and multiple team members, including multimedia producers, strategists and several stakeholders. Its rollout included using the “premiere” function on Facebook, and it was unveiled at a major event: the screening of 2001: A Space Odyssey during a 50th anniversary performance including a live musical score by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra.
At the University of Michigan, we know that being a leader means taking chances, risking failure and finding a better way — for the common good.
