For this feature story, video and digital multimedia experience, I had to dive into the world of Aerospace Engineering. Teaming with videographer Robert Colieus, I produced a video and wrote this story highlighting the work of Michigan Engineering professors James Cutler and Benjamin Longmier to learn about their joint effort to create plasma thrusters that would enable small satellites to span interplanetary distances on little fuel. The duo were also working on a Kickstarter campaign to fund their research, and used our assets for that purpose.
